Entering & Negotiation
Scene Command Enters:
Gather suspect demands and ensure the hostage is unharmed.
Choose and announce the radio channel for coordination.
Assign officers for pursuit roles and hostage handling once suspects flee.
Backup & Scene Setup
Position Units Strategically: Set up cover and prepare for a potential 10-80.
Confirm All Officers Are Ready: Ensure pursuit units and hostage officers are in place.
Post-Negotiation & Evidence Collection
Command Transition:
Once suspects flee, hostage officer secures the hostage.
Pursuit team follows the assigned order.
Evidence Collection: Scene Command ensures officers take photos and gather evidence before clearing the scene.
This ensures a structured response, hostage safety, and proper pursuit coordination.
