Vehicle Swap Rule

  • If suspects initiate a third vehicle swap:

    • PIT Maneuvers: PIT maneuvers are automatically authorized at speeds under 100 MPH.

    • This allows officers to aggressively disable the suspect’s vehicle and bring the pursuit to a safe resolution.
